the can down the road. is this proverbial constant delay, delay, delay until they can get anything together? >> i don't blame president obama for all of this. i do think he inherit the a very polarized nation. richard nixon and ronald reagan won re-election with 48 and 49 states. obama squeaked out a victory here. one thing obama has to do, even if it's not his fault, he has to lead the country. the nation is in an interesting position, where the right has turned very right and the red has turned very red and the blue is very blue. but on issues like immigration and the budget, i think there is a chance to move forward and i think the democrats on the hill will urge the president to work in a more bipartisan fashion, because if you look at the senate races in 2014, there is a lot of democratic senator who is have to get re-elected in swing or red states. so i think political reality is this -- they have to come together to get some things done or both sides will fail and be criticized. >> eric: specifically, how does he find his way out of this one? speaker baner says he -- speaker

obama create his legacy which i'm sure he does not want to go down as the president that bankrupted america. so all of us around this table, regardless of our political stripes, have a great vested interest in helping him make sure that doesn't happen. and, of course, the role all of us can play in deciding what do we want to spend our government money on and be an influence so we can have our voices heard as to do we really want to send $55 million to indonesia to help improve the infant mortality rates in indonesia when we have babies here who could probably benefit from the same expenditure? i think that's about enough said. we're delighted to be a part of the american dream. i came out of the army with $800 of cumulative leave play, and the lord blessed it to get into sell of $100 million of net worth, and the success i've enjoyed comes from, i believe, three things. one is the fact that the workers or that god put in my life, 70 people who helped me pick stocks, interact with the clients and, secondly, was a hospitable governmental environment. you had a taxation and a regulato
